1. Next club trip

The next club trip will be on 16th October for the game against Hearts. The bus has been ordered and confirmed. All monies must be passed to John Parsons ASAP. The bus will depart from the Emerald at 5.45am and will leave Glasgow at 6.30pm.

2. Memberships/Membership card updates

£530 has been taken in membership renewals so far this season. There has been little progress on membership cards due to Andy dislocating his shoulder but he will try to design something soon.

3. Emerald Update

Things are going pretty well from both sides but there was an issue about too few bar staff for the Rangers game causing long queues at the bar. Phil will discuss this with the committee to ensure that there is adequate staff for the busy games.

4. Live TV games

Setanta have published their proposed TV fixtures until January 2005. When the committee have this information all live games will be advertised.

5. New Club Shirts and Badges Update

The new batch of white club shirts should be arriving around the 5-8th October and will be sold on a first come, first served basis. There is outstanding money from 2 people from the last batch of shirts.

The club has sold 85 badges so far.

6. Treasurer Report

The current balance is approximately £2372. Recent raffles have been going well, bringing in £118 profit so far this season.

We will shortly have to make a payment to the Emerald Club to cover the cost of our members Emerald Club membership. We will need to meet with the Emerald committee to agree fees.

7. Harp Magazine

Phil has suggested sending details of our club to Harp magazine for an advertising feature. Andy will take photographs at the next televised game and Phil will write an accompanying piece.

8. Race Night

WSCSC has been approached again by St Mary’s GAA with a view to co-hosting another race night at the end of October. For this to be successful we need to sell horses before the evening. Unfortunately, the short notice of this night will make this difficult. N

9. Future Club Trips

The next proposed club trip will be on 4th December 2004. Further details will be given nearer the time but anyone interested should give their names to Phil ASAP.

10. Foggy Dew.

The Foggy Dew will be playing at the Irish Centre Digbeth on 9th October.

11. AOB

No matters were raised.

12. Next meeting.

Date and time to be arranged.
