1. Minutes of last meeting

The minutes of the last committee meeting were read and accepted as a true record.

2.Welcome to new members

3. Newsletter

Peter congratulated on an excellent newsletter. Peter thanked all those who ad contributed to the newsletter and invited contributions for future editions.

4. Lapsed members letter

A letter has been sent to members who have not renewed their membership this season. There has so far been no response.

5. Next club trip

The next club trip will be on Sunday 3rd November V Aberdeen. The club has 18 tickets plus season books. The bus has been confirmed and will leave Wolverhampton at 5.45am and leave Glasgow at 6.00pm.

6. Ticket allocation for future trips

A decision will be taken on possibly reducing our ticket allocation after the next club trip, depending upon how successful it has been.

7. Possible withdrawal from Supporters Association

The Association currently hold £300 of club funds. However, we no longer source tickets from the association and we have stopped using the club on the London Road following its decision not to admit children. Therefore it was agreed that the club should look into the possibility of retrieving this money.

8. UEFA cup ticket arrangements

For the home leg season ticket holders have up until a week before the match to apply for tickets. To apply for away tickets you must be registered with the European away tickets scheme and demand for these tickets is likely to be very high.

9. Next home match

Following the club trip on 3rd Nov the next home match is against Partick Thistle on Sunday 17th November. This will not be a club trip but there are season tickets available if any members would like to make their own travel arrangements,

10. Kanga

Kanga is leaving the New Inn. The committee recorded its thanks for Kanga’s hospitality since the clubs inception. His last night will be on 13th Oct and all members are invited to see him off. A letter of thanks will be sent to Kanga and Andrea with a gift.

11. John McGhee

John McGhee will be taking over at the New Inn and has said that the club is still very welcome to meet and watch games at the pub. The committee wishes John every success in this venture.

12. Forthcoming social events

Sunday 13th October – Kanga’s leaving do, please could as many as possible attend.

Wednesday 16th October – Ireland V Switzerland, will be shown at the New Inn.

Saturday 19th October – John’s opening night with Don o’ Lee band

Friday 22nd November – Race night. We need to sell Jockeys and trainers before the night and prizes will then be awarded to the winners of each race. There will be a tote on the night with 50% going to the club and 50% being payed out in bets.

13. Membership cards

Andy Sutherland has produced membership cards for this season and they have been sent out to members.

14. Merchandise

Nothing to report.

16. Any other business

Trains are now running at 17:52 from Glasgow on Saturdays making it possible to travel home by train after matches.
