1. Next club trip
It was decided to run this trip as we already have 19 adults and 2 children who have indicated they will travel on the bus.

2. Emerald update
It was generally felt that we had made an excellent start in attracting people into the Emerald to view any Celtic games, but still disappointing at the lack of paid up members attending any of the Celtic games.

3. Advertising
It was felt this is an excellent avenue to attract more members to our club and will use this medium for future occasions

4. Newsletters
Phil felt that a huge amount of time goes into producing Newsletters and the response from members did not warrant the time and effort put in by all contributors to the Newsletter and in particular Peter Willis.
On numerous occasions Newsletters have been sent out informing members of meetings/functions and trips to Glasgow and the response has been poor.
Therefore it was decided that a simple one page flyer will be sent in future to let members know of forthcoming events.
It will be discussed at a later date who will produce these flyers.

5. Flags, future arrangements
It was decided for future live games members of the committee will try to assist in putting the club flag up the night before a game or some time before the kick off, which was not possible due to poor traffic conditions.

6. Website
Karl, the webmaster asked that it be noted that abusive language on our club website will not be tolerated, especially as the site is now linked to the Celtic FC website.

7. Treasurer Update
John stated the club had nearly £2,000 in the bank and that our income from memberships was the highest the club had achieved since its inception.

8. Race Night
Phil informed the meeting that a race night was being planned in partnership with St. Mary’s GAA, on Friday 31st of October, and that Phil had a meeting with St Mary’s after this meeting to discuss it further.

9.Possible Xmas Function
Phil suggested we may hold a Xmas function at the Emerald, given the amount of members we now have and the possibility of a free room and maybe a contribution off the Emerald in respect of the entertainment. Mixed reaction from the floor, Phil said he would make a few more inquiries before anything is decided.

10. Next Meeting
It was decided the next meeting will be Monday 27th of October, to enable club to discuss forthcoming race night.

11. AOB
Mick Maughan asked for it to be placed on record his thanks to Phil Kelly for getting the people rail tickets after the bus was cancelled previously due to lack of numbers, Phil thanked him for his comments.
