1. Emerald update

Letter sent to Emerald to ask for a meeting to clear up some uncertainty regarding the screening of Celtic games at the same time as Gaelic games. As yet no response from Emerald committee to arrange a meeting. It is felt the Emerald are pleased with amount of Celtic fans turning up for the live Celtic games.

2. Future trips/semi final/ last trip of season

Due to Celtic progression in Scottish cup, the next planned trip on Saturday 10th of April was cancelled. Next club trip will be on Sunday 16th of May, but club initially have been allocated 10 tickets for this game. These tickets have gone to members who have attended all or most of club trips. A reserve list was set up for members who wished to pay £20 as a deposit in light of the club getting any more tickets. Five members deposited £20.
Phil managed to get a promise of an additional 5 tickets, making a total of 15 tickets.
These tickets added to members existing season tickets means a bus will be ordered. However, it is thought that being last game of season it will be a members only bus trip.

3. Halifax, names NOW needed

Scott who is organizing this trip failed to attend meeting, but all names are required asap.

4. Club T shirts, Price Change

Club T- Shirts are due this week, it was decided to make the cost of the club shirt £20 instead of £18, this to cover the postage costs and also easier for collection of cash.

5. Club Badges

Phil has put in motion a club badge based on our new club crest, these will cost the club £1 each, a minimum of 100 had to be ordered, club will probably sell badges for £2, no definite decision as yet.

6. Possible gift to our oldest Member

Ted Drummond, the club's oldest member recently celebrated his 75th birthday and it was suggested the club present him with a present. This was agreed and thanks to Peter Willis who will purchase a gift when in Glasgow.

7. Treasurer report

John Parson enthused how well the club were doing, stating at least three season books must be purchased next season, the club has almost £2500 in the bank.

8. Memberships

Memberships for the first time in the clubs history have topped the 100 mark, although is has to be added a lot of these were very recent and no money was taken, but names added to data base. Approximately £800 has been taken in membership fees.

9. Raffles

Due to some slight complaints about the way we run raffles, it was asked if a more professional approach could be undertaken, in the running of the raffle and the announcing of winners.

10. Newsletter

It was discussed if we are going to send out a final newsletter; Peter Willis said this would not be a problem. Peter was asked if the format could be changed as to enable it to be put on the club website, this was agreed.

11. Website

It has been noted that recent comments on the website had caused possible offence and after a healthy debate it was agreed, where possible to keep to comments about Celtic/football and that Karl as the website master would keep an eye on comments.

12. AGM date

The date for the clubs AGM has been provisionally set for Sunday 13th of June 2004

13. New membership cards – next season

Andy Sutherland produced last seasons membership card, and was asked if he could start now to look at producing next seasons membership cards. Andy said next season he would like to have them done more professionally and that would include having to pay for some of the process. The committee said within reason this would not be a problem

14. New Membership forms for 2004/2005

It was discussed that we re vamp the membership form to include new club crest and more emphasis’s on getting members to put down their email address’s, this will enable club to reduce cost of posting out newsletters and allow the club to inform members via email of forth coming events.

15. Live games at Emerald

Once again it was pointed out that the live games coming up still need to be supported by committee and members alike
