MINUTES OF THE WOLVERHAMPTON SHAMROCK CELTIC SUPPORTERS' CLUB OPEN MEETING HELD ON MONDAY, 4TH FEBRUARY 2002 AT THE EMERALD CLUB, WOLVERHAMPTON

1. Minutes of last meeting

The minutes of the last committee meeting were read and accepted as a true record.

2. The future of the club

The lasck of a consistent meeting place for the supporters club was felt to be partly responsible for the poor interest in club trips this season. It was decided that a meeting should be held with Kanga to discuss continuing using Seamus O'Donnells as a venue for televised games until the end of the season. No firm decisions regarding next season were taken as we are as yet unaware of who will be televising SPL matches and what day/time etc.

It was decided that the club should order twenty tickets for the Celtic V Aberdeen game on Saturday 2nd March and endeavour to run a trip as there could be very little opportunity to travel after this match. The trip will be advertised in a flyer which Peter Willis will create and distibute to all members. Names and deposits required as soon as possible.

3. Club trip to Celtic V Dunfermline

After a slow initial response most of the tickets applied for have been allocated. However Phil had not yet received confirmation of number of tickets fom Celtic. If there is a shortfall in tickets they will be distributed on a first come/first served basis based on when deposits were paid.

Steve Thornton agreed to again act as bus convener for the trip and an itinerary for entertainment on the bus was agreed.

4. Membership cards

Stuart Fox will be producing these in the next week and they will be sent out to members in the next newsletter.

5. Matters Arising/ Any other business

No further items were proposed for discussion therefore Peter closed the meeting.
