MINUTES OF THE WOLVERHAMPTON SHAMROCK CELTIC SUPPORTERS' CLUB OPEN MEETING HELD AT THE EMERALD CLUB, WOLVERHAMPTON

1. Minutes of last meeting

The minutes of the last committee meeting were read and accepted as a true record.

2. Proposed club trip on Saturday 6th April

This was anticipated to be the game where Celtic clinch the SPL title. Therefore it was expected that tickets will be hard to secure for the club. It was decided to apply for 52 tickets in the hope of getting a reasonable allocation to allow the club to run a coach to the game.

Peter agreed to send out a flyer to all members advertising the trip and asking for deposits. Tickets will be allocated on a first come first served basis.

3. Leicester Vs Celtic

Celtic will be travelling to Leicester to play a friendly on Monday 8th April. At time of the meeting all Celtic tickets had been sold. Therefore it was decided that any club members wishing to attend this match should apply for tickets individually.

4. Celtic Vs Rangers

There is one remaining home fixture against Rangers. The committee did not know whether the club would receive any tickets for this match. In the event of receiving tickets it was expected that demand would exceed supply and the issue of distributing tickets to club members was discussed. No final conclusions were reached. Any further ideas should be forwarded to Peter or Phil.

5. New Club Home

Kanga has now moved to the New Inns pub, Bilston Road, Wolverhampton. The committee hoped that Kanga would continue to host the club for televised matches, meetings and functions. It was decided that Peter and Phil would speak to Kanga to confirm this.

6. End of Season function

The idea of having an end of season function was discussed. No final decisions were taken. To be discussed at future meetings when new club venue has been confirmed.

7. Membership Cards

There was no new information about membership cards. Phil agreed to speak to Stuart Fox about progress in this matter.

8. Cup final venue

The Cup Final will take place on 4th May. The committee hoped that Kanga would agree to show the match at his new pub. To be discussed with Kanga, Peter and Phil.

9. Any other business

No other items were proposed for discussion.

The date, time and venue for the next meeting to be confirmed.
